7 TOP TIPS TO HELP YOU HOST THE BEST CRAFT PARTY

I love hosting craft parties, in my eyes there is nothing better than having the girls over for a night of crating, whatever the occasion!

Here are my top tips for hosting the craft party of your dreams:

1. SNACKS!!!

This is number one as its by far the most important thing! Snack are essential at a good craft party, even if you have already eaten; something about crafting makes people hungry! so always have some snack close to hand.

I find it best to put these on the table within easy reach, once party guests get settled in a craft they won't get up so have snacks at a good picking distance!

Go for easy to eat, non messy bites! Crisps, sweets and Cakes always go down like a house on fire at ours!

Crafting burns calories, right?

2. TO THE TABLE! TO THE FLOOR!

Part of the fun of having a craft party is all mucking in together, if you have a large table everyone can fit around and have room to craft, great! If not improvise at our old flat we would put down beach mats, gather up a load of cushions and craft on the floor in the living room!

Work with what you've got to create space and get everyone together!

3.BE PREPARED!

It's super important to be prepared! If you are lucky enough to have the craft night box for your party then you are half way there! If not plan, plan, plan! Be sure you have enough supplies, enough tools and know the ins and outs of what you are making.

4. SHARING IS CARING!

Don't go mad making sure everyone has their own tools, sharing is caring! I find when people have to share tools it slows the party down a notch, gives people a chance to chat and eat!

No one will even notice they have to wait to use something, so don't worry your little head about it.

5.KEEP IT TIDY

It seems obvious but tidy up between each craft! Take a moment to clear the decks, this will give you less to do later, and keep everyone workspace nice and clear!

6. HAVE A LAUGH

Have fun! For some reason Crafting is always hilarious when its with your pals- whether it be someone throwing a whole box of bead across the floor by accident or craft fails that you can't hep but giggle at!

Take it chill and enjoy it!

7. LEVEL: BEGINNER!

Cater for all levels and abilities! I find that focusing on the beginners is best- experienced crafters will take their crafting to another level of their own accord once they get the idea. Don't be afraid to adapt to the craft abilities around you as you go!

I hope my top tips help your craft night be the best ever!
