DIY Snowflake Ballerina Babe | 12 days of Christmas crafts

Updated: Oct 12, 2020

On the 3rd day of Christmas crafting, I made a Snowflake Ballerina Babe!!

Oh my! It's the third day of my 12 days of Christmas crafts- which is happening every other day in December! If you aren't joining in yet, head here to sign up to get access to all of the free templates, downloads, prizes and all of the sparkles!

Today we are making one of my fave Christmas crafts, one which I come back to every year, because it's just so magical! These snowflake ballerina's are super easy for all ages to make, but look so delicate and gorgeous hanging up!

They fit perfectly with the new Disney Nutcracker film too!

You will need:

-2 pieces of A4 paper

-Template

-Scissors

-Thread

-Glue or tape

Step one:

First up grab your template and one piece of a4 paper and cut out the ballerina.

Step Two:

Next to make your snowflake, Cut your second piece of A4 paper into a square, then fold the square diagonally in half.

Fold the corners over each other into the centre to create a long triangle.

Step Three:

Cut into the sides of your triangle, use the designs on the template to help you create a snowflake pattern!

Step four:

Cut a small opening at the point of the triangle, open up your snowflake, then carefully feed the ballerina into the snowflake skirt. If you roll her up carefully you can slip the skirt over her head, then rest it on her tutu.

Step Five:

Attach a line of thread using a tiny piece of tape on the back of her head, then hang up!

Why not create a whole company of ballerinas?
