DIY Fall Card

Hi crafty friends! I’m loving this fall weather it’s the most perfect time of the year.

I think September’s box is my favorite, but I can’t get enough fall themed items.

I’m loving the gold card bases that came in the box. My first thought when I saw the octagon chip board pieces is that they would make perfect peak through window in a card or a perfect frame for a shaker card. So, I made two cards one with both ideas.

The first card I made was a shaker card I filled it with sequins and glitter. TO make the shaker card I traced the octogon shape onto my pattern paper and cut it out I used some old packageing for the window and fun foam to give it some depth so the sequins and glitter would move around with ease.

To finish the card off I added the sentiment to the bottom of the card adhered some sequins and nuvo drops randomly on the front.

For the second card I used the octagon chip board frame as an opining to see inside the card. For this card I traced the octagon onto the card base and cut the opening out. I then glued the vellum sentiment to the octagon chip board and adhered it to the front of the card.

I kept this card super simple to finish it off I took the leaf die from the box and die cut it out of some of the pattern paper. I adhered a few leaves and sequins onto the card base and it was done.
