If you’ve been hanging on emma jewell crafts for a while, you will know that I love making garlands. I think they are so easy to make, but give me so much happiness hanging beautifully on the wall.
Sugar skulls are hot right now, especially with Halloween on the way!
YOU WILL NEED:
Black card
Cricut explore Air
PVA Glue
Bakers twine
Glitter
Paint Brush
Glue Gun
STEP ONE:
Start by creating a sugar skull on Cricut Design Space. I uploaded my own design, then added shapes to the skull and welding them to create a cuttable image.
I cut out six skulls using black card, But cut out as many as you would like, to create a great garland.
STEP TWO:
Use PVA glue to add glitter accents to your skulls.
STEP THREE:
Lay out your sugar skulls, then cut a length of bakers twine. Remember to leave enough twine on both ends to tie up your garland.
STEP FOUR:
Use the glue gun to glue your sugar skulls to the twine.
Once dry, put up your sugar skull garland. Why not invite everyone over for a Halloween party to enjoy its fabulousness?
