STEP ONE:
To start your wreath, open up my project in Cricut design space, or create your own by adding leaf images from the Cricut Design Space image library.
Depending on the size of your wreath base you might want to duplicate some of the leaves or resize them to fit.
STEP TWO:
Next, load a piece of glitter card on to the mat and load it into the machine, select glitter cardstock as your cut setting and start cutting!
Repeat this with all of the different colours of glitter card you have.
I also cut a sheet of leaves in foiled acetate, I loaded this onto the mat and cut using the foiled acetate setting.
STEP THREE:
Once all of your leaves have cut, take some time to carefully bend and curl them between your fingers to get a more realistic leaf shape.
STEP FOUR:
Warm-up your glue gun, and grab your wreath base. Glue each leaf onto the base, slowly building up the leaves to cover the whole of the wreath base.
Before you reach the end, add twine or ribbon so that your wreath can hang, then cover the gap with leaves to finish.
You now have a beautifully sparkly wreath to hang with pride onto your front door!
