Make your own Love Island water bottle! | Cricut

Updated: Jan 24, 2023

I adore Love island, it's my guilty pleasure - I just can't get enough of the drama! So, as being an islander isn't for me, I still want a piece of the action! I decided to make myself my own personalised islander water bottle.

I found a water bottle in Primark, which isn't super accurate, but it's perfect for me, and am going to use my Cricut machine - I'm positive the set designer of Love Island has a Cricut machine, as there's vinyl every where in the villa!

So let's gets coupled up with a new water bottle....

You will need:

-Water Bottle

-Cricut Machine (if you don't already have one then I recomend) cricut-emea.pxf.io/JoyMachine or cricut-emea.pxf.io/Maker3

Step One:

Let's talk fonts! Getting the font right is really essential for this project- I did some research and discovered that the font used everywhere in the villa is called Pecita, and can be downloaded for free on dafont.com.

Alternatively Holiday Cake on Cricut Design Space will work great too.

Step Two:

Download the font to your computer and copy the folder to your fonts folder. When you restart design space it should appear, ready to use.

Type out your name, and resize so that it is about 4 to 5 inches long.

Click Make it!

Step Three:

Weed your cut out and add transfer tape.

Step four:

Apply vinyl to your bottle, making sure the first letter is at the bottom side of the bottle.

Ta da! Love island bottle complete, all you need now is to pop on a bikini and full face of make up and find your nearest sun lounger!
