This bank holiday weekend, I’ve been challenged by Canon to Scrapbook my adventures with the Canon SELPHY Square QX10! As you know I need no excuse to get my scrapbook out, so I was of course willing to take up the challenge.
We headed away to a beautiful cottage in Hereford for a weekend, the first time we’ve been away since lockdown, so it felt so great to be in a different house. Our aim was to do as little as we could and take the weekend to relax and bring back a bit of calm!
Surrounded by beautiful colourful fields, Ivy cottage was the perfect place for a getaway and to grab some cute photos for my scrapbook! I’ve been dreaming about getting one of those photos amongst the flowers, so subjected mike to becoming a photographer to get some shots of me prancing about in the field opposite the cottage. I think they came out great and are the perfect inspiration for my spread.
I went with mustard yellow and pink tones to tie in with some of the photos, layering up papers to create a background. Then adding the same paper to the backs of each photo, I love how the photos are adhesive-backed, so easy to peel off the backing and stick them straight into your scrapbook.
I added sticker sentiments to each of the photos then layered up a tag in a contrasting blue colour to add some dates and details to.
I’m loving how easy the Canon SELPHY Square QX10 makes printing out photos! So easy to grab the ones I need for my scrapbook and get creative!
